LocationBamboo Bay is a small and friendly school for creative expression. We offer art & craft classes for children ages 2-12 and music lessons for ages 3 and up (adults welcome). We offer the perfect location for your entire family to express themselves creatively whether it's through art, crafts or music. All classes are taught by dedicated teachers with experience teaching young children. Meet the owner

At Bamboo Bay, it’s not unusual for kids to hide from their parents once their classes finish.

“They just don't want to leave,” says Carrie Laureola, owner of Bamboo Bay, smiling. “They have this thing where they hide under the table. It’s six o’clock and they still don't want to go home. It’s flattering to me that they want to stay here and they feel so comfortable and welcome.”

With a background in business, art and child psychology, Carrie decided to open the school of creative expression through arts, crafts and music to combine her experience with her passion for teaching kids. “I offer kids the opportunity to be themselves,” Carrie says. “To really express themselves in a way that they probably can’t do at school because there are certain rules with certain subjects, whereas with art you are expressing your feelings. You are expressing your thoughts. So getting them to really put it out there and show the world.”
