i go there alot with my friends and family! and the food is so great! the staff is very nice and one english girl is quite cute! even at night its a great place just to sit with the girls and have a drink!
I don't know why it took me so long to visit The Queen's Head. After walking by it at least 20 times, my wife, two friends and I decided to finally give it a try. All I can say is, I have found my new favorite pub in Burlington. Nearly each aspect of The Queen's Head is fantastic. The variety of dishes, the selection of draught beer, the friendly staff, very comfortable and cozy seating all add up to one special place. It's difficult to find any items over $10, none of which have disappointed so far. As devilish as it sounds, the bacon pie is phenomenal, but must be shared with 4! The inclusion of a turkey burrito and sweet potato fries is genius and both are fantastic. I really can't say enough good things about this place, I urge everyone who loves pub grub, but not over greasy OR expensive, to give The Queen's Head a try.
the food was some of the best i've had. the prime rib i could cut with a fork. the service was above average. i would not hesitate to go again
Wings were very dry and tiny. Only served 4 pieces of potato skins for appetizers, which were also small. WE were one of the 2 tables in the restaurant at the time. With few tables on the patio. Kitchen Service was not quick considering most people were drinking and not eating. I was extremely disappointed with the food. Especially since there were many pubs we could have chosen downtown. The Queens Head was a bad mistake.
VERY good pub food, nice interesting menu with some unusual choices (Deep fried pepperoni might SOUND nasty but it was absolutely delicious!) and a large selection of draught and wines. Server (Heather) was excellent, fast and friendly. We tipped her well - she earned it! Server attitude is important to the overall dining experience. Pleasant atmosphere with big screen tv showing soccer, not too loud that it interfered with our meal. Food took a little while but was very good. Wines are quite overpriced but I do enjoy a good selection. Patio seems nice, but not in the winter! Recommended.
