My wife and I scheduled a wedding date in 2015 for a date in September 2016. We had sat with the owner (Alex) on two occasions to establish our date, menu, room and price. Everything was written on his calendar notebook on the date of our wedding and on a paper he gave us with menu options. The owner and his assistant Rick said not worry and to come back 1 week before our wedding date to finalize the details. They never offered a tasting which was strange but my wife and I were curious so we
We recently took friends who were visiting from overseas out to dinner at this restaurant. My husband and I had never been but one of the other couples that we were with had recommended it. The food was great, absolutely no complaints. The complaint came with the bill. We ordered very expensive wine and there were 2 additional bottles charged on the bill. We also left a 15% tip, before taxes, and were told by the waiter that it was NOT ENOUGH. Very embarrassing and we will certainly never go back.
Went here for an anniversary dinner with my parents. We had heard good things about the place from others, and were looking forward to our meal, however we left disappointed. The food was delicious, but our experience was ruined by terrible service. Our waiter spent most of his time chatting with one table, and we (and the other tables) were mostly ignored. Our food took FAR too long to arrive, and they weren't busy at all! The restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere is nice, but I won't visit again.
I had taken my husband here for our 10th anniversary. The mansion is just beautiful and secluded. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. The steak was tender as were the vegetables. My husband loved the salmon dinner it was cooked to perfection! The food was excellent!! As an added touch the waiter gave us a slice of chocolate cheesecake with a candle in it as he knew it was our anniversary. It was a wonderful anniversary dinner!
This is definitely the place to come for a special occasion! The restaurant is actually a hilltop mansion located in a beautiful, rural setting. The service is attentive but not intrusive. The food is excellent! The veal and the Caesar salad were the best I've ever had!
