    Very poor customer service " - Kman I bought a preowned 2016 Explorer 3 weeks ago. They did safety testing and 2 days after picking up the car the air bag light came up on the screen. I booked an appointment which was given after 9 days.The fix required overnight stay of the vehicle.I had to fight for the rental as I live 65 km away from dealership.Dealership didn’t want to cover the rental cost ,though my vehicle is still under warranty. Also in the menu screen behind the vehicle it shows auto

    bought a car supposed to never have been in an accident has clean car proof report the car had 7000 km on it seen paint flaking took it to a ford approved body shop to find out the whole side of the car has been painted has spots in the pillars from dirt in the paint also clear coat peeling tires feathering because the car was hit on the side. all this on a car that was never technically sold to anyone but us as it was a ford dealer car owned by the owners brothers wife needless to say this is

    I have a brand new F150 that the driver's door keeps on freezing up, it's been fixed TWICE & still later night in the freezing cold after working all night I had to drive home with an open door.You tell me that's right,it has to be fixed properly so I don't get into an accident.

    Not impressed.

    I like this dealership WAY more than the other Ford dealership in Barrie. However, I can't justify how they can tell me my car is not mechanically bad enough to fix? I drive it literally everyday, 7 days/week. They have it for 1HR and claim it's not bad at all. Worse yet, it's covered under warranty and I am entitled to have my car fixed with its CURRENT ISSUES. Not impressed anymore. Ford of Canada has awful customer service. I regret making it my first big purchase.

    Highly recommend Douglas Ford!

    After a huge disappointment at another local dealership we stopped in at Douglas and dealt with Ryan. Ryan was fantastic. He worked hard to get us the exact car we were looking for (a 2015 red Fiesta Titanium hatchback) at the price we wanted to pay and gave us the right money for our trade without any hidden tricks. He got it for us weeks ahead of schedule. He sat with my wife at length to show her the features. It was a great experience and my wife loves her car.

    I should start by saying that as I write this, the dealership is under new ownership/management (July, 2015) and just driving into the lot you can see the amount of overhaul being done on the place. I walked into a meeting with these guys after stepping out of a meeting with my bankruptcy trustee and was instantly approved with 6.9% financing. Other companies were charging me as high as 21! I got a great car on a 4 year term and the price was well within my budget. The people were fantastic.

    Do yourself a fav...

    Do yourself a favour and stay clear of this dealership. The owner and used car manager of this business were terrible people to deal with. You can find much better service and product at another dealership.
