I recently stayed here and found the rooms musty. As the elevator is slow, I took the stairs often and I have not seen a dirtier stair case in a hotel - I suggest they tear out the carpet. The food and food service was very good at our functions. Front desk staff and valet team are very good too - with the exception of one night manager who was a bit snarky. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were nice but smelly - air quality was poor in them. I did like that they had a desk with plugs on the front which was very convenient for working. Overall though, the rooms were not worth the rate we paid, especially since the hotel was very noisy as there was construction going on.
The food is traditional, simple and high quality. While there is only one variety of eggs Benedict on the menu, it comes complete with slices of impeccable peameal bacon atop an English muffin. Nestled inside the Westin Hotel, it's convenient for business travelers, but locals know that it's tasty as well.
