Sk8 Skates is more than just a skateboard store, it is a family of individuals committed to strengthening the Winnipeg skateboard scene. Sk8 Skates has been locally-owned, by skateboarders, since 1987 and is one of the longest standing skateboard shops in Canada. In 2020, new owners Fane and Kian Smeall, added snowboard gear back to the shop.
