Even 1 star is more than enough for them . I bought a vaccum cleaner a couple of months and something is wrong now. They don’t take any responsibility to repair it. They don’t respond any email , voicemails and phone. They have poor services after sales.
I recommend you don’t buy anything from them.
Do not buy anything from Oreck. Customer service is nonexistent. They charged my credit card the minute I ordered vacuum bags but they never sent them and don’t respond to voicemail or email. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Winnipeg and they too could not get a response.
Ridiculous that they can't get bags in stock for my perfectly reliable Dutchtek vacuum. I almost sold the thing for a song (I paid $500 for it used and it's the best vacuum I've ever had), but then the Oreck store got more and more unreliable in stocking the bags. I finally turned to the internet and there are at least 2 good online sources for the bags, both of which I've bought from in the last 2 years. As the exclusive Oreck distributor, they should figure out how to supply their customers.
Bought the oreck air purifier on tsc and it stopped working , was told to ship it out to Winnipeg (I am in Ontario) and it has been more than a month and nothing! I've left multiple messages and emails and don't even know where or if they received my oreck, do not buy!! Terrible customer service , avoid at all costs
We bought an Oreck canister vac at Canadian Tire, loved it until it stopped working on the third use. Canadian Tire indicated that I need to call Oreck. Called Oreck in the US, told to contact Oreck in Canada. Numerous emails not returned, left phone messages and cannot get it resolved. Though the product is good the customer service is terrible.
Impossible to get a hold of. After calling Victoria at oreck Canada finally got a hold of her a month ago but still haven't received my product as ordered after her saying she would personally take care of it. Filed a report with the BBB (this company has an F rating!) and filed a reversal charge with cc company. Stay away!!!
Received a USED item, with black gunk in filter, difficult to contact via telephone, they never return messages, promised replaced, none over 1 month later, contacted was told refund would be issued and call back, now toll free # not working, online chat always offline, disputing charges with CC company. Very shady company, Will NEVER buy from again, or recommend. STAY away!!!
I purchased a Comfort Furnace. It came in a box that had previously been opened and re-taped. It was the wrong finish (Tuscan) when I ordered Oak, one of the casters was broken and when I called the toll free #, all I got was a message to leave my message and telephone # at the tone, but no one called back. , They sell Oreck products, does not say much for the brand.
