Our Purple Dragon branch celebrated 16 years in the Kitsilano Community this past March. Head Instructor, Owner, Sensei Amber Murphy has been a student of founder Professor Don Jacob for over 21 years. Our Instructors teach Purple Dragon's style of Don Jitsu Ryu to ages 4-Adult. We also specialize in Cardio Kickboxing, Women's Self Defense and private classes. Purple Dragon is a community that focuses on supporting each other mentally, physically and spiritually to grow forward. Members gain confidence to apply in school, the work place and everyday life. Purple Dragon's Don Jitsu Ryu System is practiced by thousands in 12 countries worldwide.Our competition team travels internationally competing in World Championships and is supported through the Purple Dragon Kitsilano Youth Society.
