A deal fell through on a property and I contacted lawrenson walker 2 days prior to the appraisal taking place, to cancel the appointment. They only refunded 1/2 of the fee saying the broker is their client and the broker only notified them the day of. Terrible customer service. They were notified in a timely manner and should offer a full refund. Would NOT recommend.
“Thank you for your review. Our cancellation policies are fairly simple. In your case, our client (your mortgage broker), cancelled the appraisal after we had already viewed the property and completed part of the analysis. As a courtesy, we refunded ½ of our fee, keeping the other ½ for the work that was completed. I’m sorry this was not to your liking; however, this is standard practice in our industry.”
