Very impressed with Mother Computers. They have a full range of brand name PCs and, if you don’t see what you need, they will build you a custom PC on site. They also have a team on site to provide servicing, either same day or next day. We decided on an Acer All-in-One as it was cheaper than buying the individual components. Their price was $100 higher than another store and when I mentioned this, they immediately matched the lower price.
I am a disabled senior who was experiencing software issues with my laptop. I called Mother Computers in Victoria BC and was advised to bring my laptop in for service and they would look at it right away. When I got to the store they worked on my computer immediately and were able to correct the problems. The service was outstanding and the technicians are very knowledgeable. This company strives to ensure repeat client business and aims for total customer satisfaction.
My laptop bricked and they restored all my data in less than an hour. They were pleasant and super capable, the cost was completely reasonable, and they gave me a 12-month unlimited warranty which they honoured with no questions asked. Mother is open late hours and weekends which made it even easier. I would recommend them to anyone.
Best service I have had, I had my computer back the very next day for $78.00. I had been taking my computer to another store and it never got fixed. Mother computer had it just over night and it has been working perfectly at last.
I went to Mothers to buy a printer for my iPhone, iPad and PC laptop. I was very specific to the sales person that I wanted to wireless print from my devices. At their recommendation I bought a Brother laser printer. I got it home, set it up and found it would not print from the iOS devices. I contacted Mother for help and they told me because the printer was used they could not do anything, no store credit or refund. They said it was my problem. I encourage everyone to shop elsewhere.
I bought an external hard drive I was told it would work for a game system. It didn't. I went to return it and was told that they do not do returns. over the past year I have brought them about $5000 worth of business buying a computer friends, family updating their software getting computers fixed.
It was frustrating as the hd was clearly defective because game system did not recognise it. I was then told I could buy a power supply. for another $11
I recently bought an external hard drive for my video game system at this store, I was assured by the employee that it would work. It did not, upon returning the store employee said they dont do returns as the product was open. How was I supposed to know if it would work until it was open? They were not helpful andI was forced buy another device that was ten dollars just to get the original device to work. All in I was not a satisfied customer and will rethink ever giving them my business
