    Switched from TD to scotiabank as I heard it was a reliable bank. I have now spent the last 3 days calling into an advisor for them to email this branch to get in contact with them for me as I work during the open hours of this bank. Still have not heard back from the branch and will be closing out my account as soon as possible. Most unreliable bank.

    This is a business? what a laugh!! can't get through to a real person, dozens of options when you phone in, none relevant. Only have to deal with them as executor for an estate. I will be moving all accounts as soon as possible!!! and certainly, will not consider any branch of Scotia in future.

    Terrible customer service....poor communication.....good at meaningless small talk which does nothing to mollify a customer who simply expects clear communication and knowledgeable staff.

    I've been a customer for many years and can't remember ever having a bad experience. They've always been flexible and have good products and services. Good bank.

    First appointment I set up was canceled because that person "doesn't come in for the mornings" even though they were the ones that set it up. I should have known then it would go south. It's been two months and my visa is still not here - first card got lost in transit and they don't know where, second card had the wrong name on it, third card is "on the way" two weeks ago. Now the 50 cheques I ordered turned into 200, have the wrong address, and the wrong name. Branch manager won't answer me.
