A 6-day rental cost me $1,247. Budget’s $590 weekly rate excluded winter tires (mandatory from October to April), and they charged an extra $120 for tires. Customers must bring their own tires to avoid this charge. Budget does allow pets. However, expect to pay for cleaning. I left pet hair on the bench seat, and was charged $292.96 for detailing. The manager explained that for customers with allergies, any trace of pet hair would be intolerable (strange, coming from a pet-friendly outfit).
