Maxima Travel has been open since 2003. Owner Lana and the team at Maxima Travel specialize in bringing people to British Columbia as well as crafting travel experiences for BCers visiting abroad.
Their focus is spa vacations. “We knew we had to be special, we had to create our own niche,” Lana says. “We have a massive database of all the best wellness centres from around the world.” This database includes recommendations for massage, yoga, weight loss centres, and spas – places that have received excellent feedback from clients. Maxima Travel will organize a stay at one of these luxurious places for any of their customers looking for this type of holiday.
Lana, recently certified as a yoga instructor, is keen to promote BC as a place for wellness, too. “I love British Columbia,” she says. “We’re currently developing wellness packages for visitors to our beautiful province.”
