Edmonton ice cream shops that will delight

Edmonton ice cream shops that will delight

The Cococo Chocolatiers shop has a small café inside of it that sells ice cream and gelato. They serve a variety of flavours, such as sea salt caramel, coconut and blood orange, in cones and cups. But, since chocolate is their area of expertise, it’s best to stick with the obvious choice. For a fun twist, go for mint chocolate ice cream — delish!

Best chocolate artisans in Edmonton

Best chocolate artisans in Edmonton

This cocoa-obsessed company originated in Calgary but opened up a shop in downtown Edmonton so that all Albertans can have easy access to their delish chocolate. They sell everything from chocolate-covered pretzels to truffles, but they also have chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, chocolate drops and baking bars so you can use Bernard Callebaut chocolate in your own home-made concoctions. You can also pick up seasonal delights, such as chocolate eggs, hearts or Yule logs.

The tastiest spots in Edmonton to enjoy gelato

The tastiest spots in Edmonton to enjoy gelato

Located on the bend on Jasper Avenue, just as it turns into 124 Street, it can be easy to miss Cococo Chocolatiers. But you’ll want to keep an eye out for it next time you’re in the neighbourhood, so you can stop in for an ice-cold treat. They have a ton of gelato flavours – mango is my favourite but chocolate is their signature. After all, they do have access to plenty of Bernard Callebaut chocolate, known as some of the best around.
