Meet the owner

“Originally, I wanted 7,000 square feet so I could fit all the healing modalities comfortably under one roof,” says The Wellness Body and Spa owner Ruth Kuhlen. “But the space we have is balanced. It’s boutique style, cozy and conducive to relaxation and meditation. I didn’t want an assembly line.”

The Wellness Body and Spa philosophy is dedicated to a personalized treatment plan of action in a safe and clean environment, integrating multiple healing and aesthetic methods for the best results available on the market today. “All my staff share that philosophy and we are all professionals with appropriate credentials,” says Ruth. “Even if we’re doing a pedicure, we share positive energy and help that client get to cloud nine.”

    Tons of hair (at least 1 cm long, so not just stray hairs) left after a brazilian. Also didn't do the back. Probably the most painful Brazilian I've ever had too. There's so much hair left it looks like I could've done it myself at home.
