I had the teriyaki chicken rice bowl with tempura vegetables. Overall very good but more of a takeout place for a quick dinner then somewhere I would go on a night out.
Trust your instincts when you walk in and run away from this restaurant and go somewhere else. There are several good Japanese restaurants very close by so you do not need to settle for barely mediocre quality. Better to go to McDonalds than eat here. The point of Japanese food is freshness. I was afraid to order the sashimi or anything raw. The tempura had thick greasy batter. The spring rolls were nearly empty. The miso had no tofu or green onions and wasn't hot. They gave me a pea sized amount of wasabi and no small bowl to mix it with the soy sauce. Everything was plastic. My dinner date had the teryiaki chicken and only got 3 tiny pieces of chicken and only a scant Tablespoon of sauce.Edo is better than this. Very disappointed. I could go on etc, etc., etc. I had a stomach ache after I left for the rest of the night. I will never eat there again.
