Meet the owner

Set in the quaint 1950's era home of owner Christy McMaster, Parisian Lady Custom Design & Fit Boutique is truly something special in the middle of Maple Ridge. Upon entering the charming villa, customers can find a wide range of vintage and modern dresses as well as a full tailoring and custom dress services. The unique crystal chandeliers, Parisian-themed decor and elegant gowns are all influenced by Christy's deep love of design.

Christy takes pride in the shop's ability to throw customers into another era while offering vintage and modern dresses to suit a wide range of elegant styles. "I'm a professionally trained pattern drafter, fashion designer and bridal designer, and I wanted to work for myself," she explains. "I've been sewing since I was seven, creating my little outfits and designs."

It was a nerve-racking decision for Christy to leave a great job in the fashion industry, but her life-long passion for design eventually drove her to go solo.
